Having exhibited at The Bridal Bazaar last year we were thrilled to be invited back to show at their 2019 show... As always, the WPDN girls plan to bring together the most talented wedding suppliers in the South, but this time they added a fun new twist and brand new venue! The event will also take those attending on a journey, providing ideas and inspiration for each part of your wedding day. You’ll enter into a playground of bridal prep, fashion and accessories. Watch live make up demos, visit the nail bar and speak to the experts about your dream look. You’ll then move through to a room dedicated to ideas of how to style your ceremony, the most monumental part of your day. Next up, ingenious ideas for your reception – both day and night, from table settings, to entertainment ideas, to delicious catering concepts and it goes without saying our cocktail bar on the Fancy Float will be open for you to sip and shop! The Bridal Bootsale element remains so once you've been dazzled by the insanely talented wedding suppliers, you can enter the Marketplace where newlyweds will be selling on their wedding wares! There will also be pop up shops and independent makers showcasing their crafting talents. Finally, if that wasn't enough, there will be a pop up cafe, catered by Rebecca Cooper, the incredible talent providing a gorgeous seasonal spread for those attending the estates Opera Festival and also their recommended caterer. Sounds good huh? We are thrilled to be part of one of the Dream Teams who will be creating one of a three different concepts for the reception set ups. We have teamed up with the brilliant Purple Door Props, Grey & Copper Stationery & Athlyn Floral and will be creating a stunning bohemian set up which compliments the beautiful Grange. What Peggy Did Next organised a shoot earlier in the year to showcase the stunning venue that the show would be taking place in. The full shoot was featured on Love My Dress and the photos by the awesome Angela Ward Brown are incredible! The Grange a place dear to me as I have family that live 5/10 minutes away and have enjoyed many a wintery walk round the stunning grounds! It's owned by the Baring family, with English Heritage having a guardianship on the Grade I listed building, The Grange is one of the finest examples of Greek Revival architecture in Europe. First built in the 1660s, the house was dramatically saved from demolition in 1975 when it was taken into state care and now provides a striking venue for an annual opera festival. There are elements of the interior that words couldn’t do enough justice to describe. It’s fallen ceilings, crumbling archways, ancient murals and forgotten corners make things rather surreal when imagining the history behind them. The Grange is one of those places that invites you in and allows the imagination to run wild and play make believe with someone else’s reality. We hope to create something that will compliment the stunning setting and show it off as a unique and stunning wedding venue! So.... looks good huh??
