Whether you're hiring our items or have lovingly collected your own, let us help ease the stress on your big day and take care of the last minute details by styling your event. We've helped so many people do this crucial last stage of the preparations and we take the job very seriously. We're honoured when someone puts their trust in us to help with this crucial part of the celebration.
So, whether you're planning a dinner party and want to make an impression on your dinner guests, or need someone to set up the reception of your wedding, you can hire one or both of us to make sure the job is done to perfection.
This service is so popular, especially with weddings, as lots of the decorating has to be done last minute. We can tell you from experience this is not a job you want to be worrying about the morning of your big day. Likewise we don't want you to have to ask your mum/bridesmaid/best friends to do the job when they should be enjoying the morning with you, so we can help solve this problem.
We start all event styling jobs with a free consultation, this will give you the chance to tell us all your plans. We can also accompany you to the venue for an additional cost (hourly rate plus travel*) This is so helpful, as it gives us a real feel for the space and where you want things. If this isn't possible, don't panic, we'll just take a lot of notes.
Nearer the time we will check in again, go over everything and make sure we are aware of all the last minute details. We can also arrange to collect decor items or you can deliver them straight to the venue. What ever works best for you is good for us!
WHAT'S THE COST?
We charge *£30 an hour for event styling. This price is for one of us, usually Ami, if you want to benefit from our combined skill set, it'll be £50 an hour for both of us. It's slightly higher than our standard hourly rate, as this is more concentrated and demanding than working from home or our HQ. Depending where the event is being held you may also have to pay travel at 45p per mile. Prices would be agreed and invoiced when booking. At this stage we'd need a 50% deposit to reserve your date(s). The full balance would need to be paid 2 weeks before the event meaning on the day you can just sit back and relax. Event styling can be done in the days leading up to the main event, in the morning on the day or both.
