Quintessentially Emerging

One of the things I hadn't anticipated when starting Lo & Behold, was the incredible community I would so quickly feel a part of. Over the last 11 months I have met so many incredible people and have made friends with people from all walks of life. I have felt enormous support and encouragement from fellow industry professionals and whilst some might suspect the wedding industry to be competitive and a little clique-y, I can 100% confirm this couldn't be further from the truth! We have in fact experienced the complete opposite!.We have been welcomed in with open arms and if there was ever a situation more suited to the #communityovercompetition  then I can't think of one!

The other night I was scrolling through Instagram when I came across a post from the gorgeous Beth A Weddings about a new campaign she was involved in with the lovely Tasha from The Hampshire Wedding Club... Off I went to explore...

With an incredibly british sounding hashtag I was intrigued enough to go and find out more... Having read Tasha's Instagram post about a way of celebrating Hampshire's wedding industry professionals I congratulated them on a brilliant idea and went on to read the blog post! 

You can imagine my surprise then we I spotted our name amongst the featured 25!

I have borrowed some content from The Hampshire Wedding Club to explain the concept, as who can say it better then the lady herself...

Seen as the HWC loves to shout about all that is great about the Hampshire wedding industry, #quintessentiallyemerging is the perfect way to do just that! They have selected 5 businesses/people, who have significantly supported the Hampshire Wedding Industry, for different 5 categories, thus creating = 25 Wavemakers…

The Quarter 3 2018 #Quintessentiallyemerging suppliers have all been featured on their website, which you can visit here, and over the next 24 hours each wavemaker will feature on their @instagram page, so make sure you give them a follow!!

What's so brilliant about this idea is it will be a continual celebration of the newsest, innovative and thriving emerging talent withing the wedding industry... SO with that being said if there is an individual or group who epitomise the Rising Tide ‘on the rise’ values of making waves through hard work, determination and creativity, get in touch with HWC to nominate them and they could be featured in next ‘on the rise’ in Hampshire (Q4 - 2018 releases in January)

So there you go... what can I say but the biggest heartfelt thank you to Beth and Tasha for including us in this prestigious celebration... We have worked our arses off the last 11 months to get Lo & Behold to where it is now and we are both so incredibly proud of how far we've come and excited for the future and what it will bring!! Thank you for seeing the value in what we're doing.. it really means so much!! And a big ol' high five to the other Qtr 3 Wavemakers!! <3
